Founded in 1898, when Frank Holton opened a small instrument shop in Chicago, the Frank Holton & Co. went on to become one of the most famous and influential instrument manufacturers of the 20th century. Producing high-quality pieces, Holton instruments were frequently favoured and used by the principal players of the local Chicago Symphony. Today, the Holton tradition continues, with high quality brass instruments now being hand-crafted in Elkhart, Indiana, and in Eastlake, Ohio.
