Be in control of your signal. You can assess the level of your microphone and headphone signal by simply glancing at the 22-band LED meter. The Mdrill One is the only microphone you'll ever need. You can be guaranteed total flexibility thanks to the inclusion of four polar patterns. These will suit your every want and need, providing the ideal choices for recording vocals, instruments, podcasts, interviews, and so much more.
Selecting the "mode" button allows you to choose between cardioid, stereo, fig. 8 and omnidirectional. Cardioid provides you with a tight-focused sound. This is brilliant for when you're working in a busy environment as it guarantees excellent off-axis rejection, minimising the risk of unwanted noise and ambiences. Figure 8 is a great option for when you're recording multiple voices. Simply place one person on each side of the microphone and adjust their position in proximity to the microphone for optimised results. Omnidirectional mode provides a wholly natural sound, capturing every nuance of the space you're recording in. This is also brilliant for reducing proximity effect when close-mic'ing a source.
