The ESI U86XT Audio Interface is a highly versatile USB audio interface, providing exceptional audio fidelity and a range of versatile connectivity. The U86XT reaches sample rates of 24-bit/96kHz, capturing your input sources in immense detail, ideal for studio-grade recordings. It features 8 input channels and 6 output channels in total, allowing you to use them simultaneously. The interface includes 2 professional-grade microphone preamps with integrated +48V Phantom Power for condenser microphones. The mic pres are designed to capture your vocal/instrument recordings in exceptional detail, capturing every nuance of your performance. It also provides you with high-performance low-latency drivers for optimised performance with computers, ensuring minimal delay between signals.

Instrument Inputs & Headphone Amp

As well as the microphones pres, the ESI interface also features dual Hi-Z high performance instrument inputs, each with ¼-inch connectors. This allows you to capture and record electric and bass guitars with ease, providing a high dynamic range for optimal audio quality. The interface also boasts an integrated headphone amplifier with an output on the front-panel. This is ideal for recording applications, allowing you to switch between headphones and studio monitors at the touch of button. The high-quality AD/DA converters ensure all your input sources are captured in immense detail, retaining the natural harmonics of your instrument. It also features digital S/PDIF I/O for connecting to external equipment

Design & Connectivity

The rugged, all-metal chassis is ideal for use in the studio, providing a heavy-duty construction for optimal reliability. The ESI U86XT also boasts a wide range of versatile connectivity including 8 line inputs with balanced ¼-inch TRS connectors and 6 line outputs with balanced ¼-inch TRS connectors. There is also a separate stereo mix outputs with integrated monitoring mixer, controlled from the front-panel. The 16 channel MIDI I/O with a single MIDI input and output is ideal for connecting MIDI-based equipment such as keyboards, sequencers and more. Additionally, the interface comes complete with a music software bundles comprised of Deckadance LE from Stanton, Bitwig 8-Track digital audio workstation software and a license of inTone 2 ESI Edition from Audified, allowing you to get recording and editing straight out of the box.
