High-End Clocking Technology

The Black Lion Audio Micro Clock MKIII builds on the success of the Micro Clock MKII, providing noticeable improvements and new components for optimal audio performance. One of the most prominent upgrades is the lower-jitter crystal oscillators and higher-quality galvanic transformer isolation within the signal path. The dedicated output drivers also features better isolation and higher-precision signal division. The internal circuitry also provides heavier noise filtration for improved signal integrity. All these upgrades result in a more robust, lower-jitter clock signal for optimal audio quality and performance.

Improved Re-Design

The Micro Clock MKIII features a range of improvements internally, but the most prominent changes appear on the front-panel. The most noticeable addition is the large, crisp LED frequency display that provides information on your sample rates. The frequency display can also be dimmed for different environments, using the handy contract control on the left of the display. The compact yet robust design is rack-mountable with removable 1U rack ears for added flexibility. Once you have selected your frequency you can lock the selected frequency in using the locking selector knob.

Range Of Connectivity

In addition to the aesthetic enhancements and internal upgrades, the Black Lion Audio Micro Clock MKIII includes a versatile range of connectivity. Six BNC outputs are included with dedicated output drivers for maximum isolation. An RCA S/PDIF output and Optical S/PDIF output are also included, as well as an AES output. The lightweight yet robust metal chassis is built-to-last thanks to its premium-quality construction.
