Key Features
The Doepfer A-166 is a dual logic module that allows you to perform simultaneous mathematical operations. For each of the logic two units, there are three inputs. And the logical states of these inputs are linked together in three ways, giving you three outputs to work with: AND, OR, and EXOR.
In addition, there are two inversion sections, allowing you to use inverted logic outputs: NAND, NOR, and NEXOR. The wide variety of options allows you to combine signals, gates, clocks, triggers, and more to create more complex tones, rhythms and more.

The A-166 may seem simple - and it is to use - but it can add complexity to any modular patch you are working on. If you have a number of signals - even if they are different types - why don't you try combining them with different logic operations and see what happens? There's plenty to try too - AND, OR, EXOR and their inversions, with three inputs for each of the two logic units included.
