The Masquerader SM03 features a set of vintage-voiced pickups, delivering a distinctive tone. The guitar has a pair of specially wound pickups which are designed to produce a classic, high-output sound that is ideal for rock and metal players. The bridge pickup delivers a strong and well-defined sound that is perfect for lead playing, whilst the neck position provides a warm, smooth tone that is perfect for rhythm guitar work. These electronics are also very responsive to the player's touch, allowing for a wide range of expression.
In addition to the pickups, the Shergold Masquerader Classic SM03 features a set of controls that enable the player to fine-tune their sound. The guitar has a three-way pickup selector switch, which allows the player to instantly switch between the two pickups or use them in combination.
