Compact, Ultra-Portable Guitar Amp

The IK Multimedia iRig Nano Amp’s compact design makes it highly portable and perfect for practising your guitar playing wherever you go. The micro-sized amp will fit conveniently into the palm of your hand, ideal for transporting in your backpack as well as your pocket. The built-in speaker features 3-watt of A/B power, delivering enough power to produce the British tone stack circuitry for exceptional sound, ranging from clean tones at lower gain settings; to crunchy, overdriven tones when cranking the gain. The Nano Amp is powered by 3 AA batteries (included) for optimal flexibility, freeing you from tedious power supplies. The unit itself features volume and gain controls as well as a 1/8'' headphone connector for private listening. The standalone design features a 1/4'' guitar input and a Normal/Bright response switch for switching the tone of your sound. The amp even features a built-in kickstand for added convenience, allowing you to setup and play in virtually any space.

Built-In Interface

One of the most unique features of the iRig Nano Amp is the two operating modes – AMP & DEVICE. When used in AMP mode, the iRig Nano Amp acts as a standalone guitar amplifier, allowing you to practise on the fly. When switched to DEVICE mode, the amp acts as an interface and amplifier with your iOS device. The integrated iRig circuit means you can use the amplifier as an interface, perfect for practising, playing and even recording riffs on the fly. When used in conjunction with the AmpliTube iOS app, the iRig Nano Amp can deliver a wide range of tones and added functionality such as the ability to use the 4-track looper for creating layered riffs, as well as recording riffs on the fly. When used in the DEVICE mode, the internal tone stack circuit is bypassed and the volume knob begins to control the overall output of the amp.

Drive A Guitar Cabinet

The iRig Nano Amp also includes a 1/4'' speaker output jack that allows you to drive up to a 4x12'' cabinet. This allows you to expand your playing experience, delivering exceptional volume and tonal definition. This allows you to utilise the bright and rich British Tone circuit, ranging from clean and vibrant tones to crunchy, distorted tones when the gain is cranked up to the top level.
