Loaded with the new reimagined Black-Top Filter'Tron pickups and a Bigsby tremolo, there is a serious emphasis on quality. Nothing but the utmost attention has been given in every component that puts this together, clearly apparent from the first chord. Nothing but the best hardware
It complements the whole smart aesthetic as well as ensuring premium quality and playability. Everything from the arrow-engraved knobs, to the gold pickups and bridge to the classic Bigsby (is there a guitar that looks bad with a Bigsby?). The enlarged F-holes complete this timeless instrument, not only aesthetically but also acoustically - Gretsch clearly showed a lot of love for the Electromatic series, pushing its spec, tone, and style as far as possible.
