Send out those Strat sounds…
Clarity. Sparkle. Delicate top-ends. It's all here, and it's clearer than ever. The custom voiced Hybrid IIs loaded into the Made in Japan Strat present you with a stunning set of articulated pickups. Everything you play is infused with bright, present harmonics that clearly show the nuance in each note. They're a great balance between lower output vintage coils and more modern, hotter pickups, as they allow you to dip in and out of a variety of genres.
Selectable through a five-way switch, there's plenty of textures and accents to access - From the rich, syrupy twang of the neck pickup to the bright, shimmering cut of the bridge. Using this you can seamlessly switch between piercing leads to choppy rhythm sections at the flick of a switch, and what's more, you can sculpt your sound further through the volume and tone controls.
Vintage meets modern
Past mixed with present, all in one guitar. Generating a cool vintage vibe, the Hybrid II Made In Japan Strat features some classic appointments in a nod to the Fender guitars of old. But as for playability, it's a got a full modern attitude. A contemporary "C" shaped neck affords you an easy, swift playing action up and down the scales.
Even better, it boasts a satin finish so it's super smooth for you speedsters out there. Matched with a premium rosewood fretboard that's in a string-bend friendly 9.5" radius and honed to a gloriously sleek finish, you'll be able to bring out your best skills on this guitar. And to finish off the retro vibe, the 22 frets are shaped in a classic narrow tall style, affording that nostalgic feel and precise action.
Performance improving hardware
Take your playing further. Hosting a set of refined hardware, the Hybrid II Strat will make every note sound just that bit better. Starting with the synthetic bone nut, every string will ring out cleanly with minimal fret buzz. Working in tandem with the vintage style bridge, you'll enjoy almost endless sustain as well as precise control over your intonation.
And over at the headstock, a set of vintage style locking tuners keep your pitch held in place, so you can hit the strings as hard as you like without tuning slips. And, of course, we've saved the best until last, the 2-point synchronised tremolo system lets you inject the shimmering whammy grace into your songs. Complete with an included gig bag, this rare take on the Stratocaster is ready to hit the stage immediately - so be sure you don't miss out!
