The Signature guitar has a body constructed from high quality Mahogany to produce powerful tones. The Mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood provides the guitar with an excellent amounts of depth and helps produce an incredible sustain. With Red binding, black hardware, and a TonePros bridge, the Schecter is given a gloss black finish with metallic red edges and a Balsac graphic.
The 3-piece Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard has been designed to provide a smooth, fast play, perfect for shredding with. The Mahogany/Ebony combination produces tight, warm tones that are defined and open with a fast attack. The two woods provide the guitars sound with a muscular, controlled bass and snappy, sizzling highs. It also comes with many other features including Schecter locking machine heads, and a mother of pearl Jaws with silver chains at the 3rd fret.
Although the signature V guitar has only one pickup, the Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker is capable of delivering a multi-voiced soul of a passive pickup or the powerfully brutal aggression of an active humbucker. The single pickup can be used to deliver a wide range of tones, dynamics and responses, offering the ability to go from an active high output crunch, to an organic, hot passive tone. The design of the Fishman pickup makes it free from hum and noise, to deliver a clean, pure, and uncorrupted musical tone.
