Everything about the Ironbird Extreme FR is designed to project crunch. The Fishman Fluence humbucker pickups are the source of this crackling power. A modern alnico pickup is used in the neck position to generate thick and rhythmic low-end notes. Superb for switching up your sound if a clean sparkle is called for.

The bridge pickup uses a ceramic magnet that will give your tone the razor-sharp edge to cut through any mix. It's the pickup you're going to spend the most time with, and as soon as you hear its ferocious bite, you won't want to switch out!

These premium pickups are direct mounted into the body of the guitar, meaning more detail of your vibrations travelling through the wood are extracted by the pickups - lending a real visceral kick to your notes and enhancing their sustain.
