The EP Booster was built with the renowned Maestro Echoplex Ep-3 in mind, that was used by guitar legends such as Eddie Van Halen, Brian May and Jimmy Page. When the blueprint for this pedal has been in the hands of greats such as these, you can be sure that it will fit snugly into your set-up. The EP-3 is a vintage guitar echo effect preamp pedal, that provides a deep, dark and warm tone, that made it so iconic.

Further tonal shaping

Inside the EP Booster pedal there are internal dip switches that allow you shape your tone even further to create your ideal sound. There is a Bright Switch for shaping the EQ, varying from a normal Flat setting (on position) and a deeper and darker Vintage setting (off position). To adjust the boost frequencies, there is another dip switch that allows you to set the boost level up to +3dB gain. This pedal's controls are simple and highly intuitive for any user.
