The HVX shell makes this a perfect kit for gigging drummers to display a powerful amount of volume and projection. Constructed from hand-selected North American maple and featuring an 8ply shell, this Performance Series kit exudes the highest quality tones. Emitting warm tonality with high mid-tones for versatile drum sounds, the HVX shell construction helps deliver a durable shell suited to a wide range of music genres and playing situations. The shell construction produces a low and punchy sound with optimum resonance allowing you to achieve powerful drum tonality with plenty of clarity.
Triple flanged hoops increase stick longevity
The Performance series kit comes complete with triple-flanged hoops, constructed from sturdy steel, the high tom features a 1.6mm hoop whilst the Mid and floor tom features a 2.3mm hoop. These hoops aid you to get the most sound out of your kit, increasing the longevity of your sticks. These types of hoops allow the edges to vibrate freely, producing overtones from the drum shell, enhancing drum tones and sustain.
