Compact design and durable housing - The WRT-8B is constructed from lightweight die-cast magnesium. This makes the unit resistant to dents and malfunctions due to drop damage.

Easy to read LCD display - The WRT-8B has an easy to read LCD display that shows RF,AF,Battery & Frequency.

Pilot tone squelch - All Sony wireless transmitters use a 32Khz pilot tone squelch system that helps prevent the reception of unwanted signals as the receiver will only accept an RF signal that carries the 32 KHz pilot tone.

10 mW & 50 mW RF output - The WRT-8B has a selectable RF output of 10mW & 50 mW This provides the best results when using a multi channel wireless microphone system or when range is paramount.

Mic or Line level input - Both a mic or a line level input can be selected giving the user a greater amount of flexability.

Die-cast magnesium housing - The WRT-8B has a magnesium housing that makes the unit very strong & lightweight.

Easy to operate - As with all Sony wireless microphones the WRT-8B has an easy to read LCD display that allows the user to check status at any time.

Low running costs - The WRT-8B operates on only two AA cells and will transmit for upto 13 hours. Running costs are kept to a minimum.

Pre-programmed frequency groups - The WRT-8B has pre-programmed frequency groups that take away the strain and guess work from system setup.

24 MHz switching channels - Each WRT-8B is able to carry 3 television bands that allows 192 selectable channels at 125 KHz channel spacing.
