Designed around the original hardware interface, the SFC-60 is the ultimate companion for the TAL-U-NO-LX virtual instrument. Building on the success of previous iterations, version 3 features a completely overhauled design that stays true to its hardware counterpart’s original design. Dedicated sections with clearly labeled sliders and buttons allow you to navigate between settings and parameters with ease. Providing hands-on control for your Juno-60 plugin emulation, the SFC-60 stays true to the original whilst bridging the gap between analog control and digital flexibility.
With 26 sliders in total, you can dial in your sound with the utmost precision. Loading preset within the plugin itself will update the LED-based physical switches, so you have instant visual feedback for your patches. When switching between different tracks, the controller can also sync with your plugin to update the switches as well. Utilising pick-up/scaling modes you can avoid any ‘jumping’ parameters for maximum accuracy when using the onboard parameters (via the latest version of the plugin). While the SFC-60 is designed primarily for use with Juno 60 virtual instruments, the controller can be used with any MIDI-mappable software/hardware.
The beautifully crafted enclosure and boutique-style wooden side panels make the SFC-60 look as good as it feels. The controller is assembled in the Netherlands with components sourced from Europe and Asia. The enclosure is constructed from sheet metal with a powder-coated aluminium front panel. The ink used to annotate the controls is made from scratch-proof paint ensuring a long lifespan that can withstand the rigor of day-to-day use. The class-compliant design is USB-powered, with a USB (type-B) connection on the rear panel.
