The Kala SMHG-FS UBass electro-acoustic ukulele combines classic materials with head-turning tone. The body is solid Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard for a thick low end and lots of warmth. Despite the small size, there's a surprisingly large amount of balanced bass available. The Shadow active pickup transfers your tone to an amplifier easily and effectively. There's also an included case.

This U-Bass model was Kala’s first bass ukulele, and has become a musician’s favourite for nearly ten years. This compact ukulele produces a tone with surprising punch and focus. The custom-designed Shadow pickup has EQ and a built in tuner for easy use live. The solid Mahogany body and Rosewood fingerboard is a good combination for warmth and a well ageing tone.
