Exotic Body Construction

This 7-string Premium Ibanez features a lightweight mahogany body with elegant contours and a smooth design, creating an incredibly comfortable instrument with sweet, warm tonal characteristics. The body is topped with a range of exotic tonewoods, featuring poplar burl, walnut, curly maple, and panga panga to create a truly unique aesthetics. As well as appearance, the Ibanez also features a double-cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets to deliver incredible flexibility across the entire fingerboard.

11-Piece Wizard-7 Neck

The S1027PBF Premium’s 11-piece neck is created from panga panga, maple, walnut, and purpleheart, creating a visually stunning aesthetic while enhancing its sturdiness for an iron-like construction. The combination of these tonewoods provide the guitar with a beautifully warm, sweet tonal characteristic, enhancing its natural resonance to create a truly stunning sustain. The wizard-7 profile is designed for the 7-string guitar, delivering an incredible slim and smooth performance to accommodate quick position changes.

Bound Panga Panga Fingerboard

This 2018 Ibanez is equipped with a bound panga panga fingerboard, which has been designed with a smooth, natural finish for a comfortable playing experience. The tonewood provides the guitar with an excellent response, delivering extra layers of brightness and warmth for creating punchy mids and striking highs. It’s bound edges allow for a smooth play and fluid hand flexibility across the whole neck.

DiMarzio PAF 7 Pickups

The DiMarzio pickups offer an incredible range of tonal properties, creating a beautifully clean and open sound on low notes and lusciously warm, rounded tones on high notes. Specifically designed for 7-string guitars, the PAF-7 humbuckers delivers clean-sounds and a low output, much like the classic humbuckers of the late 50’s. Ceramic magnets provide the pickups with their classic tone, while virtual vintage technology ensures they produce the warm high notes.

Gibraltar Standard II-7 Bridge

The S Series Guitar also features the 7-stringed version of the Gibraltar Standard II bridge, designed to join with the guitar's body and provide optimal transfer of each string's vibration. This setup enhances the guitar’s resonance and sustain, while Its smooth surface maximises playing comfort for an unobtrusive performance.
