The two Dynamix pick-ups featured on the neck and the bridge work in conjunction with the Phat II EQ to deliver a warm yet powerful low-end sound, creating the perfect balance between the EQ'd tone and the original punchy bass sound. The pickups provide a fat, punchy sound that sits nicely in the mix, delivering plenty of warmth and bite that’s perfect for a range of musical styles.
Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard
Ibanez are renowned for their innovative, thin neck profiles which offer a lightning quick playability whilst retaining sustain and resonance that’s usually provided by a thicker profile. Designed for rock and metal guitarists, the bass’ maple neck offers a lightning quick playability with bright tones and plenty of sustain. The rosewood fingerboard helps to ‘fur up’ the maples tone, adding some softness and warmth to the overall tonality.
GIO Series
The GIO Series was designed and developed by Ibanez for bass players who desire the premium-quality of Ibanez instruments but in a more affordable package.
