This Marshall C5-01 boasts 5-Watts of power and Class A circuitry from input to output for great vintage Marshall tone. If you're looking for something designed to provide the sound of a plexi but in a nice compact size, that it was the Class5 series aims to do! Get big tone with low wattage!

Quality with Compactness

This valve combo amp features Volume, Bass, Middle and Treble settings. With its 5 Watts of EL84 power and minimal amp circuitry, it produces great, pure Class A tone, rich in smooth second-harmonic distortion. Experience untainted analogue tones thanks to the C5-01's all-valve signal path, whether that be sparkling cleans, full-bodied crunch or epic leads. The amp responds naturally to playing dynamics and on-the-fly guitar control adjustments.

Deceivingly Pure Tone

The C5-01 becomes a great amplifier to have at home or in the studio. If you're a real purist when it comes to tone, the amp boasts authentic all-valve timbre, while pedal fanatics and studio engineers can take advantage of its excellent sonic foundation to build their sound. This amp features a custom designed Celestion G10F-15 loudspeaker. You can get deceivingly great bottom-end clout from this little amp, whilst also retaining tonal clarity and definition.

Extension Speaker Output and Low Power Mode

Its rear panel has a 16 Ohm output, and a headphones output which doubles as the Low Power Mode. If you select this option without headphones connected, the low power signal (about 50mW) is routed directly to the amp's internal loudspeaker. This results in volume well suited to home practice without headphones.

Custom Shop Features

You'll notice that the C5-01 boasts a vintage appearance with Marshall's distinctive gold panel. This custom shop version features a Green Lavent covering, Marshall Vintage "Block" Logo and Basketweave Cloth.
